Istanbul Mehmet X-Ray Turk Series

The X-Ray6 Turk Series by Istanbul Mehmet are a series of cymbals which are aimed towards drummers looking for more unusual cymbals to add to their existing set-up. X-Ray6 Turk cymbals are perforated to enhance the trashiness whilst decreasing the decay. This particular style of X-Ray crash features six large holes spaced evenly around the bow of the cymbal. These particular cymbals were introduced by Istanbul Mehmet at The NAMM Show 2018 earlier this year.

The Istanbul Mehmet 18″ X-Ray6 Turk Crash is medium-thin so they create sound quickly but still have enough weight behind them to cut through sound when needed. This cymbal would be great for any drummer who is looking for a cymbal that is in between a china and a large, washy crash. As always all of the cymbals from Istanbul Mehmet are created using traditional cymbal making techniques and are handcrafted to perfection and this is another stunning example of the high quality that oozes from Istanbul Mehmet cymbals.
