Available in a choice of either silver or 9ct gold, our sculptural Úna pendant hangs on a strong yet fine 18inch long chain. (It can also be worn at a shorter length of 16inches). The angular silhouette of this pendant is formed in 1mm thick metal. We use contrasting matte and polished finishes to highlight the angular shape. Names Jewellery began as a side project for the founders of Irish Design Shop; Clare and Laura. It has grown to be an integral part of the business, branching into an independent studio space on neighboring Exchequer Street. Each piece of jewellery, crafted by hand, is named after a woman who inspires Clare and Laura, be they family members, disrupters, or fellow makers. Úna Dirrane was an Aran Island crios maker, part of Muriel Gahan’s cooperative movement of the 1930’s.
